The sleepover for preschoolers is an important tradition in German kindergartens.
As a kindergarten which provides German style education, Eduwings has been following this tradition since its establishment, and this year was no exception. On the two days of May 24th and May 25th, the preschoolers from both campuses went to a farm in the suburbs of Shunyi and experienced this significant activity. They packed their own luggage, set up their tents with the help of their teachers after arriving at the farm, and used firewood they collected to make a bonfire. In the evening, they roasted marshmallows and sausages, and they slept in their tents.
It was the first time for many of them to sleep without their parents, as well as outside. With this experience, these preschool children have become more independent and brave, and they will confidently be ready for the life of primary school.
